Day 2

Today, Tuesday, March 17, was the 2nd day of our stay-at-home adventure. Yesterday was the first day that NYC Public Schools were closed because of the pandemic. At first, Cade was happy about school being closed, but he thought it was only for a week. He said, "But when I realized it was a whole month, maybe more, I wouldn't be able to see my friends, and it would be really boring." We had waffles and eggs and toast for breakfast, we did an hour of online learning, went on a walk to mail something, did Sculpey sculptures, played Legos, basketball mini hoop, played little video games, and made homemade pizza for dinner.

We just found out that Dada, who has been in California for the past week, is coming home early, at 12:00 tonight. He was scheduled to come back Saturday. We were worried that he wouldn't make it.
