Monday - Day 15

Today we walked down to the riverfront to see the USNS Comfort arrive in NYC: A 1,000-bed Navy ship, the Comfort, arrived in Manhattan on Monday morning. The ship is meant to provide relief to overwhelmed hospitals, treating patients without the coronavirus. It has 12 operating rooms, a medical laboratory, and more than 1,000 officers.We went on a big walk to 33rd and 2nd Ave, near Industry City, to see it. We made it in time, but we were sort of far away. Then on the way back we stopped at the cemetery and walked through it. Then we did online learning, saw a movie (The Abyss) and had dinner (chicken, couscous and frozen vegetables).
